Statement of Faith

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

The Person of Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal, visible return in power and glory.

Salvation

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential. We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through personal faith in Christ alone.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and empowered for service and witness.

The Church

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, who together form the Body of Christ, the Church, regardless of denominational affiliation.

The Great Commission

We believe that the ministry of evangelism (sharing the Gospel) and discipleship (helping followers of Christ grow) is a responsibility and privilege for all followers of Jesus Christ. We are called to be His witnesses from our own neighborhoods to the ends of the earth.

Sanctity of Life and Service

We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end. We believe we are called to demonstrate God’s love by providing for the physical and spiritual needs of the poor, the marginalized, and the suffering.
