GUATEMALA

THE ANCIENT PATH: ANTIGUA TO ESCUINTLA

Rest in the colonial beauty of Antigua. Serve in the industrial heart of Escuintla.

A holistic mission of restoration and "The Way."

From the volcanoes to the lowlands. Join One UMI as we serve the families and local leaders in the industrial and agricultural hub of Escuintla. Our mission model is one of intentionality. We utilize the historic, quiet streets of Antigua as our basecamp—a place for team discipleship, prayer, and evening rest. Each day, we journey down the mountain into Escuintla, the Pacific lowland hub where the need for holistic ministry is greatest. By bridging these two worlds, we provide our volunteers with the space to process what they see and the energy to serve with excellence.

WHY ESCUINTLA?

Escuintla is the engine of Guatemala, yet many of its communities remain overlooked. Here, the climate is intense, and the need for holistic restoration is even greater. We partner with local ministries to provide essential health advocacy, sustainable construction, and spiritual discipleship. In Escuintla, we aren't just visitors; we are partners in a long-term movement to restore dignity and "The Way" of Yeshua to those on the margins.
